Mobil Pantry at Broadway Baptist Church

Time: 8:15am – 10:45am
Location: 305 W. Broadway, Fort worth, TX 76104  *Meet in the west parking lot).
Pairs:  20
Opens: June 1, 2017
Closes: June 16, 2017

Serve by: Assist with food truck unloading food and providing food farmers market style to over 500 families. We will be working outside, so please bring water.  Please also remember to wear your SASO shirt and comfortable shoes.  Please remember to leave your phones in the car-no texting or any social media is permitted during the events.

I Can Still Shine

Date: July 8, 2017
Time: 9:45-2pm
Location:   Birdville Baptist Church
3141 Carson Street
Haltom City, TX
Pairs: 12
Chair: Need A Mom an d Daughter to Chair the Event.
Opens: June 16, 2017
Closes: June 30, 2017

Serve by: Assist single, under privileged moms by serving lunch or providing light manicures, or engaging with their young and pre-teen children while they are eating or getting pampered.

Please remember to wear your SASO shirt and comfortable shoes.  Also remember to leave your phones in the car-no texting or any social media is permitted during the events.

If you cannot make the event, please allow a 48 hour cancellation.

 

Feed Our Kids (week long event)

Date: July 31 thru August 4, 2017
Location: Courtyards at 2913 Mustang Drive Grapevine
Event Time : 11:00 to 2:00 each day
Chair : Ellen Woody will do one day, we need Moms for the other 4 Days.
Opens: July 3, 2017
Closes: July 21, 2017

Pairs: 7 pairs will be needed each day with one of the pairs serving as chair for the day and coordinating the meal for that day.

Serve by: Volunteers will prepare and serve lunch for 100-150 kids each day as well as provide games and activities weather permitting.

Feed Our Kids (FOK) is an amazing summer program that provides over 37,000 lunches to children in the GCISD every year.  This program makes a difference by filling those “hungry” summer weeks with meals, smiles and a loving atmosphere.

Please remember to wear your SASO shirt and comfortable shoes.  Also remember to leave your phones in the car-no texting or any social media is permitted during the events.
